Happy news!
My daughter, Jessica, and her husband, Jared, are expecting a baby! They announced the news to the family on Christmas and it made the holiday really special. (Every time I say “special” I feel like The Church Lady on SNL. S/he ruined that word.) To say I’m excited is putting it mildly and I am secretly hoping for a girl so I can make all kinds of cute clothes for her. But of course the gender doesn’t really matter. I’m just so happy that there’s a new little Gilstrap on the way.
